Dawn Murden

About me

I’m Dawn — a Fractional Revenue Leader and Executive Coach with 16+ years’ experience across media, tech, and start-ups. My career began in journalism. First, a stint in gritty real-life features, then covering entrepreneurship and board-level strategy as a Business Editor. That curiosity for how organisations function successfully led me into tech, where I eventually became Vice President of Customer Success at a SaaS scale-up. I know first-hand the pressure of leadership in fast-paced environments. I’ve experienced the peak of rapid growth, but I’ve also paid the personal price of it through extreme burnout. Today, I combine my real-world VP experience with professional coaching. I help founders and revenue teams navigate the complexity of scaling without losing their most valuable assets. People. Customers. ARR. I’m proudly neurodivergent. I see the commercial patterns, risks, and opportunities that others miss. I’m a fierce advocate for mental health and social equity. Beyond my fractional leadership and coaching work, I serve as a Board Trustee for Age UK Ealing and Phoenix Enterprises, and as an advisor to Mind and the NHS.

Helping individuals and organisations reach their goals.

I have a handsome English Setter called Diego. A lovely husband. (In the order.) I travel. I love music, especially prog’ rock, metal, and classical. I’m also into DIY and have transformed a victorian property, and built my own self-converted camper (along with the lovely husband).

Fractional Revenue Leadership and Executive Coaching for Founders, SMEs, and Series A/B teams. I help you protect your ARR and build the leadership capability needed to scale.

As a former journalist I ask direct, thoughtful and forensic questions. I get the the root of issues quickly.

I’ve covered board-level strategy as a journalist, and scaled a SaaS business from $0 to $10M+ ARR as a CS leader (all while keeping Gross MRR churn <3% and negotiating expansions of 500%+.) I know what high performance looks like, and I understand how it can slip during rapid scaling. Now, I use my experience to secure success for others.
