Event Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or attending any event hosted by The Qualified Network (“TQN”), whether online or in person, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, you should not register or attend.

2. Event Types Covered

These Terms apply to:

  • The Network Room (online sessions)
  • The Local Room (online and in-person sessions)
  • The Briefing (guest-led sessions)
  • Any additional TQN-hosted events, workshops, or member gatherings

3. Eligibility & Professional Conduct

TQN events are designed for professionals seeking meaningful, high-quality connections.

By attending, you agree to:

  • Conduct yourself respectfully and professionally
  • Avoid aggressive selling or unsolicited pitching
  • Maintain confidentiality of discussions shared within sessions
  • Not use events for data scraping or mass marketing

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour undermines the integrity of the event.

4. Registration & Payment

Where events are paid:

  • Payment must be made in full before attendance
  • Prices are displayed in GBP unless otherwise stated
  • We reserve the right to change pricing for future events

Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Free Events:

  • If you can no longer attend, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

Paid Events:

  • Cancellations 7+ days before: full refund
  • Cancellations within 7 days: non-refundable
  • You may transfer your place to another professional with written notice

TQN reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events. If we cancel a paid event, a full refund will be issued.

6. Recordings (Events)

Some sessions may be recorded for internal member access.

By attending:

  • You acknowledge that recording may occur
  • You may choose to keep your camera off or not contribute verbally
  • If recordings are ever intended for external use, separate permission will be requested

7. Intellectual Property

All materials shared by TQN, including:

  • Event formats
  • Slide decks
  • Written materials
  • Branding
  • Digital programmes

Remain the intellectual property of The Qualified Network unless otherwise stated.

Participants may not reproduce or distribute materials without written permission.

8. Guest Speakers & Third Parties

Views expressed by guest speakers are their own.

TQN does not guarantee outcomes, business results, or advice shared during sessions.

Attendees are responsible for their own decisions and actions following any event.

9. Confidentiality

Attendees agree:

  • Not to share confidential or commercially sensitive information disclosed during sessions
  • Not to record sessions independently
  • Not to redistribute member details without permission

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • TQN shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • Attendance is at your own risk
  • For in-person events, attendees are responsible for their own belongings and safety
  • TQN is not responsible for venue-related incidents outside our control.

11. Changes to Events

We may:

  • Change speakers
  • Adjust formats
  • Modify timing
  • Move events online if necessary

We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
